INTRODUCTION

  This Field Day logging program was written for two main purposes.

  1. To provide an FD logger that has ALL the features I wanted in one program.
  2. To provide a small program that fits on an inexpensive notebook computer.

  The FD program was written in GWBASIC so that it could be altered easily by
  FD operators "on the fly".

  NOTE: Please read the FD.DOC file (in FDRD.ZIP) for FD program information.


INSTALLATION

  Install the FD program by performing the following three steps.

  1. Create a directory called FD (or use a name of your own) by typing:

       MD \FD <Enter>

  2. Collect and copy the following files to the \FD directory:

       FDRD.ZIP      V1.40
       PKUNZIP.EXE   V2.04G (or later)
       GWBASIC.EXE   V3.23 (latest version supplied with DOS before QBASIC)

  3. To uncompress the FDRD.ZIP file, make \FD your active directory by typing:

       CD \FD <Enter>

     then type:

       PKUNZIP FDRD.ZIP <Enter>


EXECUTION

  To run the FD program, at the DOS prompt C:\FD>, type:

       FD <Enter>
