Since January of 2019, I have been performing manufacturing and engineering roles to produce phased-array radar systems at Lockheed Martin Corp. (Rotary and Mission Systems) in Moorestown, NJ. I became familiar with the daily operations of the company and gained valuable technical experience within several product lines. I am looking forward to advancing my career further by moving into a new engineering role. I presently hold an active US government DoD Secret security clearance.

As an Electronics Design Engineer throughout most of my career, I performed the role of a subject-matter expert (SME) for all tasks assigned, and provided technical support for internal and external customers. Fully accountable for all technical accuracy, I also provided product support and training sessions at customer sites whenever required. Support has included designing circuits and creating software to resolve specific customer needs.

In addition to many other duties, I have been authoring technical documentation during my entire career in both production and engineering environments. My written and illustrated work includes bills-of-material and wire-run lists, schematic drawings, printed-circuit board layout, routing, and fabrication drawings, machining and assembly drawings, silk-screen and label artwork, instructional procedures (for hardware, software, and/or firmware installation, configuration, test, operation, and maintenance), reports (for investigative studies, project status, and test results), product marketing literature (for sales brochures, design requirements, data sheets, specifications, and catalogs), training courseware, equipment user guides and service manuals, schedules, budgets, proposals, white papers, documents for revision control, such as change orders, and other publications, such as magazine articles.

As an experienced Engineer and Manager with both R&D and manufacturing backgrounds, I have proven to be an innovative, cost-effective problem solver and driven team leader. My skill set includes cradle-to-grave engineering of hardware, firmware, and software, which involves product research, conception, definition, design, development, procurement, prototyping, test, validation, documentation, data management, quality control, and support of production, sales, and customers, in addition to technical management, instruction, and writing.

My career history involves more than 40 years designing hundreds of electronic products and test equipment, computer programming, developing DOS, Windows, and PalmOS software applications, and web development for both client and server sides, and writing embedded microcontroller firmware, in addition to the concurrent management skills and technical writing required during these tasks.

Some of my specialties include design in RF/wireless, DSL, motion control, optoelectronics and transducers, microcontrollers and processors, test and measurement equipment, safety, EMC, telecom, and environmental regulatory agency standards compliance, linear and switch mode power supply systems including power management and distribution, high-speed digital and analog PC board layout, and firmware, software, courseware, and web development.
